Patricia Peters grew up in Burnaby, B.C. and studied Art, History and Communication in Utah and Paris.
She returned to Canada, where she continues as a life-long student. Patricia loves to get together with other artists and experiment with different mediums. She has painted with the Blind Bay Painters in Salmon Arm, B.C., teaches and takes art workshops, and exhibits her work with the Federation of Canadian Artists. She has worked with watercolor, oil, acrylic, encaustic, collage, found objects… Patricia says she’s a four-year-old at heart; she loves bright colors and shiny things. She is excited and seduced by color and expresses a lot of energy and optimism in her art in response to what she sees. Patricia is the mother of six children. She enjoyed the magenta sunsets, ravens, forests, and arts community of Grande Prairie, Alberta for many years, and now lives in Chilliwack, B.C.
Her images are featured in our cards: The Art of Tea, “The Guardian”, Monte the Moose, Monte the ChrisMoose, Raven Tango, The Great Canadian Road Trip – Blue, and The Great Canadian Road Trip – Yellow Beetle.
