Happy Birthday!
In this season of our lives, we don’t let the numbers get to us.
Always remember: we’re as beautiful as ever…just a little more ecCENtric!
Cover photo: Spring Crocus
Inside: Crocus on a Wacky Hair Day (taken a little later in the summer)

Story on the back:
I originally designed this card for my sister, who would sometimes despair about her “camping hair” because it would get rather wacky, curly and unruly in damp weather, out in the bush, with no electricity or access to the tools needed to tame it down. But I’d say, “You’re beautiful always, Sista!” And we’d have a good laugh.
The fuzzy crocus is my favourit flower. Visit our website at to see our crocus blog post entitled, “Nobody Sees a Flower…” based on a quote by artist Georgia O’Keeffe:
“In a way nobody sees a flower really,
it is so small, we haven’t the time –
and to see takes time,
like to have a friend takes time.”
