Greeting inside:

“What shall I wear?” said the snowshoe hare,
“My white coat, or my brown?
For I declare I smell spring in the air
as I romp in the snow on the ground.”

Description

Story on the back:

The snowshoe hare is found in every province and territory in Canada.
This long-footed lagomorph is a master of transformation.
As spring approaches, its warm, thick, white fur coat morphs into a summer cammo suit so the hare can hide in the forest by day and come out to frolic about between sundown and sunrise.
