Artistic Statement: I have a community of ravens as neighbours in my garden. They keep me fascinated by their behaviours and habits. Their shapes in flight and on the ground are a great source of inspirationfor print making.

Mary is interested in responding to nature, relationships and the local context by using colour, design, and distortion to achieve a dynamic image that reflects the essence of the subject.
Mary’s print “On a Mission” was chosen by Art of the Peace for a travelling exhibit that toured Alberta and B.C. in 2012.
