Story on the back:

Artist, Joan Saunders, has donated her royalties for this card to the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation near Slave Lake, Alberta. borealbirdcentre.ca
Check out their annual Songbird Festival in May! ‘Twas there I learned how to use the Merlin Bird ID app to identify birds by recording their sounds as we walked in the woods.
As a vocalist, the Rose-breasted Grosbeak (inside right), has been described as a robin with opera training, so I call him the Divo of the Boreal.
For sing-a-long songs/music videos that help children remember the songs of birds such as the Black-capped Chickadee (Hey Sweetie…Cheeseburger!) and the White-throated Sparrow (My Sweet Canada Canada Canada!),
see MotherEarthBook.ca – “Videos and Resources” page.
