Description
Story on the back:
A tree nymph, sometimes called a dryad or tree spirit, is rarely seen in the woods these days. However, there is an enchanted boreal forest in the hills north of where I live. I love to visit there, especially in autumn. I once caught a glimpse of one of these magical creatures among the aspen trees, or rather, she caught a glimpse of me, and I managed to get a quick photo before she disappeared.
I doubted I would ever see one again, as they are very shy creatures, but I recently happened upon this fair and comely nymph, the same one, I believe, curled up like a sleeping fawn on a bed of twigs.
Perhaps if I visit often and quietly, I will some day hear her music or see her dancing.
May the forest be with you 😉
This isn’t written on the card, but I discovered that my suspicion has been confirmed – trees talk!
