Description

Story on the back:
My husband, Dennis, and three good friends spent several weeks in the Muskwa-Kechika, the largest wilderness region in the Canadian Rockies.
They roamed from mountain to mountain, valley to valley from the Bessa into the Towsley among breathtaking vistas.
Many unforgettable memories were made during the trip in this pristine natural environment of northern B.C.

The Artist:
Sandy and her husband have carved their home place out of the wilderness of northern British Columbia, and her surroundings have an endless ability to move and inspire her. She uses a wide variety of art media to express the liveliness and essence of her subjects. Sandy is very active in the artistic community as a member of the Peace River Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists and Flying Colours Artists’ Association.
The original painting of the above image is 30″ x 40″ and was auctioned off at an event to raise funds to preserve local wildlife habitat and to support the local Rod & Gun Club initiatives. The winning bid in this exciting auction was $2,250. Canvas prints are available from the artist. sandytroudt.com
