Product Description

Story on the back:
In 2015, I was asked to help photograph the Harmon Valley Rodeo for Mighty Peace Tourism. What a hoot! After kneeling in a pile of horse crap while trying to get a low-angle shot of a bronc rider, I started feeling right at home. The smells, the sights, the sounds, the magnificent animals, and brave, skilled riders all brought back fond fun memories of my days on the farm and my bull-riding relatives.
This card is dedicated to my cousin, Gail Thompson (pictured bottom left) who travelled the rodeo circuit with her brothers and her friend, Vivian. Gail rode cows and bulls, won a championship in a girls’ rodeo, and even taught some guys to ride.
If she phoned you on your birthday, she would end the conversation with, “…and you have a kickass day.” And then you knew, whatever happened, you were loved, blessed and encouraged to be courageous.
